Understanding Dementia Support

It has been shown that people with dementia gain comfort from being in their familiar surroundings and experiencing a consistent routine. Merit Healthcare allows people with dementia to stay in their own homes for as long as possible. As one of the UK’s leading home care agencies Merit Healthcare can also offer respite from the responsibility of dementia care for family members and friends.

At Merit we understand the needs of people with dementia, from the early stages of diagnosis through to the later stages of illness. We can provide daytime visits where needed or the peace of mind that comes with live-in care for those who need more help. Merit Healthcre also offers professional and experienced help to access a wide range of additional relevant information and resources.

We know that our clients want continuity, and to have carers they know and like.  Therefore we introduce a small team of carers, with whom the client gets on well with. This way,  we can make sure that our client sees only people they know on a daily basis.
